A life coach can help you see where your life is right now while also helping you create a vision of where you want it to go and create a plan to achieve it. The coach helps you to identify personal and professional goals and your strengths to develop and achieve them. A life coach assists the client throughout the change process, helps build confidence, and keeps the client moving forward. The coach shows the client how to get what they want out of their life by improving the client’s thought process and skills while showing how to implement them. This allows the client to live a fuller, less stressful life.

No, unfortunately, life coaching is not considered a treatment for anything. Since it is not a “medically necessary treatment,”  your health insurance will not pay for coaching.

Sessions are held through video, phone, email, or text. It depends on the client’s preferences.

Yes, I try to accept many forms of payment so that it is convenient for all clients.

A change in behavior takes time and repetition. The coach will go at a speed that is comfortable for the client. You will see changes throughout the entire process. The small changes will add up to make a new behavior. Each client is different, but on average, it takes 2-3 months before a new behavior becomes automatic. It depends on the person, the habit, and the circumstance for a new habit to form.

An Existing Client is a client that has completed a program already. After completion of a program the client can choose to continue being a client for as long as they want to. We will use the programs as a solid foundation to achieve new goals and continue a life of positivity. An Existing Client will have two sessions a month unless more is needed.

Yes, every person is different and life coaching will only work if the life coach develops an individual plan for each client. The programs are there to enhance the individual plans and give a solid foundation to work towards the client’s goals.

Yes, I try to offer as much support as possible. If the client calls/texts during business hours, I will return your call/text as soon as possible. If it is after business hours, it might take a little longer but I will try to answer as soon as I can.

No, absolutely not. Therapy focuses on mental health, diagnoses, and emotional healing and is past-present oriented. But life coaching is future-oriented, focusing on goal setting, thought processes, and achieving the goal. Life coaching does NOT involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders as defined by the American Psychiatric Association, and the coaching is NOT to be used as a substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care, substance abuse treatment, or other professional advice by legal, medical, or other qualified professionals.

It might be time to get a life coach if:

  • You have trouble following through.
  • You are having a lot of anxiety and stress in your day-to-day life.
  • You do not know where or how to begin to make changes to reach goals.
  • You are easily distracted.
  • You need help finding your purpose.
  • Your health, relationship, finances, and career are all in disarray.
  • You have a lack of support from the people in your life.

Some benefits of life coaching are:

  • It enhances life-work balance.
  • It aids you in making better decisions.
  • Reduces procrastination.
  • Improves life skills, behaviors, and interpersonal skills.
  • Helps the understanding of self-reflection and self-awareness.
  • Enhances commitment, clarity, and reaching goal vision.
  • Increases self-esteem and confidence.
  • Reduces stress, anxiety, and fears.
  • Gives better life satisfaction and peace of mind.
  • Improves personal and professional relationships.
  • It provides you with unbiased support; someone always got your back.

I try to be affordable for all people in all stations of life. I want to help people learn how to make their life less stressful and more enjoyable by showing them how to cope with situations, understand their “self,” achieve their goals, have a positive outlook on life, and be able to teach the ones around them to do the same. This world is full of chaos, and I am here to help tame it, not add to it. When you change life for one person, they can change life for many.

Absolutely. I will work with you to develop a continuation plan based on your necessities, schedule, goals, and how frequently you would like to meet. You are welcome to stay as a client if you desire.
